I was browsing the paper Thursday afternoon when I spotted an ad for Marie Callendar's Chocolate Cream Pie (for those of you on the East coast, Marie Callendar's is also a restaurant on the West coast!). I wanted one, but the $7.00 price tag was a bit much. So I did a quick internet search and found a recipe that looked delicious and I had all the ingredients on hand. This was quick and easy and oh so good! Even my husband said it was a keeper!
The only change I made to the recipe was substituting 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil for each square of unsweetened chocolate.
My pie wasn't as pretty as Marie's but it was just as yummy!
