My New Obsession

I saw them briefly in Costco. Then again in a Target flyer. Then the sunscreen debacle happened and I had to have one. Less skin to slather goop on is fine by me. But I can't find them ANYWHERE in Vegas! Apparently everyone else in this sun drenched desert is in love with them, too.

Then two came on Friday as a gift for Ella's birthday from Sarah's mom (and family). I was stunned speechless. I had seen a picture of Sarah's "other" sister (we shall call her Miss A), who is exactly 17 days older than Ella, on her mom's blog wearing the cutest one. I asked where she had found it. Instead of a reply email, we received a reply gift! I almost cried...

After wearing them for two days, I am in love. I was a bit hesitant on the two-piece part as we have a strict one piece swimsuit policy from birth. But I think it covers nicely. I am now on the hunt for everyone in next year's sizes, preferably at the end of summer sales! And they are called "rashguards" in case you go looking, too!

Must just be your location as we have them coming out our ears here. Noah had a swim shirt last year and I always felt sorry for him at the pool in his shirt and hat because NOBODY else had any cover at all. His still fits this year and Benj got a new crab set (with shorts that come to his ankles). We strated lessons today and I was glad to see a handfull of others in shirts as well. My children may never have nice tan chests but I am also hoping to avoid sunburns and skin cancer... Anyways, we will keep our eyes open for clearance. What sizes do you want?

Oh, yeah... did you check Old Navy? They had a ton also.

ON is where these are from, but apparently my ON is the only one in the U.S. without them. We had none.

3T and 4T. I saw tops only at Disney on sale -- I guess I could put those over a swim suit, but that could get really warm here.

Our ON has TONS. For real. I'm going to try to head back up there (literally trek 'bout 40 minutes up the mountain) this week or next. If I seem them I'll grab them. I gotta get a few for Miss A too. :) I'll let you know what I find.
